Carrageenan Gum
Carrageenan gum is a mucilage extracted from Irish moss seaweed (also known as red seaweed) which is dried and powdered. When put in contact with liquids, it rehydrates and jellies, acting as a thickening agent, emulsifier and stabiliser, while moisturising the skin as well.
Grapefruit Oil
Grapefruits have a fresh, citrusy fragrance which has an uplifting effect on the mind. Grapefruit oil is thought to have antibacterial effects on the body. The oil is pale yellow, has a sweet citrus aroma, and is made up of around 90% limonene, which have antiseptic and astringent effects on the body and hair, clearing the skin and adding shine the hair shaft.
